Rebellion Part 5 "Look it's all a really big misunderstanding." Lara said, looking down the barrel of a gun close to her.Rebellion Part 5 by *catlover9000
"You'd best get to explaining then." The guns remained in their places.
My thoughts were racing every which way like a swarm of bees.
"We were separated from the group we were with," I said, "They chased us for a while but we lost them some time back." In truth the soldiers were still probably running around looking for us.
None of them moved; my explanation didn't seem to convince them.
"Hang on, I know her," One of them said, pointing to Lara, "She's new. Should be all right." So they let her through. They kept their weapo

Rebellion Part 4 It had taken a while, but we had gone through most of the South District without detection. Instead of the streets though, we had chosen to walk down the now-dry canal. I'm not sure how anyone could have drained it in such a short amount of time, but then again, this was my brother I was speaking about. He always could do much, whether it be help or damage, in a short span of time.Rebellion Part 4 by *catlover9000
Outside on either sides of the canal were large warehouses, used for storing aircraft and the like. There was the occasional runway between them of course. As I had said before, this part of the city was specifically built for storing them.

"What do you want?" The other asked. I didn't recognize these

Rebellion Part 2 As we passed by the wreck that was the remainder of the East District, I couldn't help but stop to look around.Rebellion Part 2 by *catlover9000
Store signs hung from one side, some were entirely blown out. Windows to shops were long broken and their insides were gutted like some kind of fish. The concrete of the walkways was in pieces here and there. There were large craters in the street, no doubt from artillery fire. Much of the block had fallen into this broken mess. In the center of it all, the park remained still.
The grass no longer grew; instead the lot was now nothing but dirt and a mess of bullet and shell fragments. Bits of wood lay in the sand of a d
